Taoist Tantric Cultivation in Taiji Quan – An Introduction with Master Chuen Sat Hon, Founder, New York Dantao Center, NYC

Fee…………………$40.00

This is an introduction to Master Sat Hon’s formal presentation at the Taoist Gathering on Sunday October 28th. For the Friday pre-conference, Master Hon will introduce the seminar on Taoist tantric with the inner landscape, Taoist Inner Anatomy lecture.
Taiji Quan is a neidan/inner alchemical practice. Its tantric elements have been hidden from the public. Only a small handful of Taoist practitioners still maintain such tantric knowledge of the Taiji postures and their relationship with one’s sexuality and inner flow of energy. Come celebrate the dance of tantra with taiji. This seminar will open your eyes to the hidden world of inner alchemy.

Monday October 29, 9:30 AM-3:30 PM

The Brain, the Mind, and the Spirit – Preventing Qi Deviations
with Dr. Ted Cibik ND, DMO, H/FI of Inner Strength

Fee…………………$60.00

This special seminar will build on the lessons of the Taoist Gathering: Seeker of the Path - a rare opportunity to learn from this Taoist scholar, healer, and Qi Gong master.

Are you in a rut with your practice or life in general? Have you felt discouraged in your meditation, QiGong or other practice? Have you been feeling sad or lacking in motivation to do things, even if they used to be enjoyable? In the back of your mind, do you feel like there is another life waiting for you? What does your self-talk reveal about your Brain, Mind and Spirit? Do you feel separated instead of connected to God or the Tao?

Whether conscious of it or not, we are always in conversation with our spirit or Shen. As blood flows through our veins, so to does the Shen speak with us. In order to understand the Shens' words, we must first learn to speak its language. In so doing, we discover how to have peace daily and illuminate our ultimate purpose in life.

During this workshop Dr. Cibik will share the simple, practical teachings that emerge as an essential spirituality beyond concept, new terminology or dogma. What are the attitudes and practices that align us with spiritual guidance? What blocks it? What is the meaning of acquiring grace and the guidance of the Tao? What does this guidance feel like? Are we evolving in our practice, and if so, toward what?

These important questions reveal themselves to you as you become aware of your own Qi deviations and learn to unblock them. These Qi deviations separate you from your True Mind and Spirit. Whether in sickness or in health, it is the Qi deviations that make one miserable and discouraged with life and all it has to offer.

In this workshop, you will learn how to channel grace and become a healing force in the lives of others. Plus, experience what it means to take a mystical journey into your soul.  Once you embark into these mystical palaces of your soul, they will give you a profound form of empowerment that will transform your life in ways that you cannot currently imagine. Open the doors to the emperor's courtyard with Ted and discover the true gifts of your spirit. Discover the secrets and spiritual insights to wake up your spirit and let it lead and heal your life.

This seminar is perfect for any person who is seeking the Path. Included in this seminar are meditations that open the gates to the spiritual courtyard and the emperors' palace. Whether you understand Chinese medicine, Taoism or this is your first step on the Path or just thinking about embarking on the journey, don't miss this opportunity to begin a wonderful relationship with your spirit that will change your life!

Both classes will be held at Zhi Dao Guan, The Taoist Center at 3824 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland CA 94619
